Everyone who’s played read one of those Chose Your Own Adventure books has probably noticed one thing – they always make the choices that make them die, or at least get incapacitated in some way. As it turns out, that’s not your fault. Michael Niggel took one of the CYOA books, Journey Under the Sea, turned it into a flowchart, and figured out something interesting.
Just under 50% of the time, you will die. Over 75% of the time, you will either die or have another type of unfavorable ending. Not exactly a peachy outlook on life.
