[News] Don't Like the Wii Vitality Sensor? Good.

August 11th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Uncategorized

Nintendo announced the Wii Vitality Sensor at E3 2009. People were… underwhelmed to say the least. According to Iwata (Nintendo’s CEO), that’s a good sign.

When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking.

I was always under the impression that people reacted to something groundbreaking by touting it’s amazing features (see: Scribblenauts), but who knows? Maybe that’s how it works now.

I agree 100%. By the way, I wish they would consider creating a PC version of Scribblenauts because I really would love to play that game but I already have too many gaming consoles already. I don’t think I need a Nintendo DS. :(

I have an idea for a feature that might help you there… It won’t be the same as playing the game, but it’ll be closer to it than NOT playing the game…
