Here’s an quick little trick I learned recently that I’m sure many people have know before me.

Firefox auto-predicts what URL you are going to type, but sometimes it can get annoying if you have multiple URLs that are similar to one another. For example, my browser has a tendency to confuse the allgeektout homepage with the allgeektout dashboard. So what I did was I set up a bookmark to http://www.allgeektout.com and titled it “agt”.

Now, whenever I want to go to the homepage, I just type “agt” in, but if I want the dashboard, I type in “allgeektout” and the first option on the menu is the dashboard.
