Were you looking forward to chopping away at some minifigs later this year when the LEGO MMO launches? You’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer. It’s been delayed until at least 2010. The reason why? Fill us in, Mark Hansen, the director of business development for the LEGO Group.
The reason is, we have a luxury right now, the business is going good. We have products launching that are not digital, the physical products, with them going so well we don’t want to take focus away from them.
The plus side is that this means they may be adding in more features, and they might even include liscensed IPs, if they can get the rights to. If that happens, then you could get the chance to play an MMO version of LEGO Batman, Indiana Jones, and even maybe the recently announced LEGO Toy Story line.
If you’re really torn up about this news, however, you could always play Cartoon Network FusionFall wall you wait.
